Summit Hill Farm is a full service boarding and training facility located in Apex, North Carolina. Ben and Erin Tursam purchased the 22 acres of land in 2004 and then opened the doors in May of 2006. Having the opportunity to design and build the barn themselves, Ben and Erin were able to create a premier equestrian facility incorporating all the best features that make for a beautiful, safe, well-run boarding and training facility. In addition to boarding and training we offer lessons on our school horses and welcome trailer-in lessons. Throughout the year we frequent many recognized events as well as local schooling shows. Though we specialize in eventing we offer training for horses and riders of all levels and disciplines.

A little about Apex:
“The Peak of Good Living”

Money Magazine recently ranked Apex city #44 on the Top 100 America’s Best Small Towns and Forbes ranked it #3 Best Places to Move in America! Apex offers the convenience of a nearby large city (Raleigh), the culture of three nearby universities (Duke, UNC, and NC State), and the charm of a small town. But its biggest draw is its proximity to Research Triangle Park, the home of some of the country's biggest science and technology firms.

Located in beautiful central North Carolina, this up and coming town has a variety of things to offer. Apex locals still enjoy the small-town feel of the growing community. Historic downtown Apex offers many quaint shops and restaurants. As you move further from the city center, you'll see plenty of modern development while just minutes away you could be out in the country enjoying the outdoors. Apex combines the best of both worlds- it provides the conveniences of living in a city while maintaining the charm of the old railroad town it once was.
